Woods Canada begins Trans Canada Trail campaign

Toronto-based camping equipment company Woods Canada has begun a promotion called "Woods Explorer." The five-month initiative will involve two couples hiking the Trans Canada Trail from British Columbia through to Prince Edward Island. The four brand spokespersons were selected in a process that began in late March. They will spend the summer testing various Woods products on the trail. They will also create and share social media content as they travel.

"We were so impressed by the response to our job posting and the number of passionate, outgoing, adventurous and extremely enthusiastic candidates who love the Canadian outdoors," said James Prescott, associate vice-president of outdoor product development Woods Canada. "We can't wait to follow these two couples on their adventures across the country."

The Trans Canada Trail is the world's longest networks of multi-use recreational trails. It is approximately 17,000 kilometres in length connects with about 1,000 communities nationally.
