New president at Canadian Marketing Association

The Toronto-based Canadian Marketing Association has appointed Doug Brooks to the position of president and CEO. He will officially begin on July 6. Outgoing president John Gustavson is retiring after 25 years of leading the organization. Brooks was most recently CEO of the Certified General Accountants of Ontario. Prior to that, he was managing director of NHL Enterprises. He has also been general manager of sales and marketing at CBC Television and director of Canadian marketing at Coca-Cola.
