Toronto Star Newspapers has signed a multi-year sales representation agreement with Canadian Primedia Sales and Marketing. Primedia will represent the Toronto Star in the sale of some advertising to auto dealers and retailers in the Greater Toronto Area, including run-of-press and zoned edition advertising and inserts, as well as advertising in the Starweek and Auctions sections and the company's websites. The agreement will go into effect on Aug. 3. "We will commence an ambitious plan to hire a large multi-platform sales and support team," said Primedia president Ron Clark. "We will work in partnership with the Star to build on the excellent work they have accomplished in this very competitive media market."

Fashion website FrontRowMag.com has signed an online advertising sales representation agreement with Suite 66 of Toronto. The site is aimed primarily at urban women."FrontRowMag.com is a fantastic new site for Canadian women," said Steve Macfarlane, vice-president of Suite 66. "Michelle [Bilodeau] and Rachelle [Saevil] have quickly established themselves as an important addition to Canada's online publishing business. The site is growing quickly because it has tremendous appeal for young women who follow fashion."
