Canadian Living magazine has signed-on as the sponsor of the Cooking Stage at the Toronto Green Living Show, which will take place in Toronto from April 23 to 25. At the stage, Canadian Living editors and cooking experts, along with local chefs and specialists, will demonstrate environmentally-friendly kitchen design and sustainable cuisine techniques. "This is the first year that Canadian Living has been involved with the Green Living Show," said publisher Lynn Chambers. "It fits our philosophy that home grown and home cooked food is the healthiest option for Canadians and for the environment. Also, the timing was perfect. We've just released a special issue entitled 'Grow It, Eat It' that focuses on growing your own feast." Canadian Living is published by Transcontinental Media.

Unilever Canada has entered a sponsorship agreement with approximately 1,200 children's soccer teams nationally in the name of its Popsicle brand. Popsicle will also be the title sponsor of this year's Soccer Day in Canada broadcast on CBC, which will take place July 10. "Popsicle is summer's favourite treat, and soccer is one of the season's most popular sports," said Shoshana Price, brand building manager for Popsicle. "We wanted to bring summer fun to kids across the country, and what better way to do this than by teaming up with grassroots soccer clubs from coast to coast?"
