Canadian Living readies 40th anniversary promotions
Canadian Living is preparing a series of initiatives tied to its 40th anniversary in 2015. These will include monthly guest editors, an anniversary cookbook, special events and contest elements through the year. The magazine will also introduce a 40th anniversary logo and a website at <http://www.canadianliving.com/cl40>. In addition, the debut issue of Canadian Living from 1975 has been released for free via the magazine's tablet application. The guest editor for the January issue will be Olympic hockey player Hayley Wickenheiser. She will also participate in a live Twitter chat on Dec. 17.
"Canadian Living is the bestselling Canadian women's service magazine on newsstands because we are the brand Canadian women rely on," said Jacqueline Loch, vice-president and group publisher at TC Media. "Throughout this milestone year, not only are we focused on creating great content but we are also offering our advertisers unique ways to engage with our millions of readers. Look for special cover executions, sponsored sections and contest partnerships, as well as plenty of events, sampling and promotional opportunities that will further enhance the anniversary celebrations."
