Quebecor introduces native advertising service

Quebecor of Montreal has debuted a new native advertising service. The service allows advertisers to run native ad content on 15 of the company’s online properties, including Le Journal de Montréal, Le Journal de Québec, TVA Sports, Salut Bonjour, Le Sac de Chips, Le Guide de l'auto, Clin d'œil, 7 jours, Billie, Silo 57, Pèse sur Start, Tabloïd, Coup de pouce, Clin d'œil and Recettes du Québec. TVA Nouvelles is also scheduled to be added to the service. According to the company, this represents the largest French-language inventory of its kind in Quebec. Campaigns can be bought either directly or programmatically. The company plans to add its English-language properties such as Canadian Living and Style at Home in the future.

“Native advertising is a way to feature our clients' content in our premium inventory and support effective campaigns within a fully integrated environment,” said Renaud Langlois, director of digital operations at Quebecor. “The numbers show that our native ads, with their premium placement on all our homepages and distinctive design, which matches the look of the sites' editorial content, deliver superior results, with an average click-through rate four times higher than a standard banner.”
