Beattie launches pandemic transformation division

Toronto-based communications agency Beattie has launched a new division intended to service companies that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Called the business transformation division, the unit will work to help client plan a recovery strategy, with a focus on capturing “pent-up demand.”

“We’re busy helping clients plan for the relaunch of their businesses as the lock down is gradually lifted,” said company chairman Gordon Beattie. “Unfortunately, it will be game over for troubled businesses that have no income or reserves. Fortunately, most businesses will survive if they start planning now. That means anticipating what the future may hold and putting plans in place for a world where social distancing is likely to continue for some time to come. Our task is to help brands and companies cope with the new reality, whatever that means for them, during and after COVID.”
