Transcontinental, Rogers introduce Pressexpress
By Adnews Staff
Transcontinental Media and Rogers Publishing have introduced a new production system called Pressexpress with which advertisers can submit ad materials to participating publications up to two weeks before the publication date. The system will go into operation with the January 2010 issues of Canadian Living, Coup de Pouce and Chatelaine, followed by the March issues of Style at Home, Elle, Homemakers, Canadian Gardening, Today's Parent, Flare, Glow, Pure and LouLou. "By streamlining processes at both the publishing and printing business we were able to reduce the cycle time by 35%," said Jacqueline Howe, vice-president and group publisher at Transcontinental. "Combining speed to market with the powerful reach of Transcontinental's English and French magazines provides advertisers the added flexibility they need in today's market."
