Metro breaks new campaign

Quebec-based grocery store chain Metro broke a new campaign on Sept. 20 highlighting the company's relationship with its customers. The campaign, which uses the tagline, "We're with you every day," consists of eight television ads focusing on meal preparation. The first ad introduces the concept, while the other seven are 30-second vignettes featuring a family with three children at mealtime. The commercials are being supported by billboard and in-store advertising. "This campaign is appealing and inspired," said Marc Giroux, marketing vice-president at Metro. "It's the promise that Metro provides consumers with a full range of quality products, advice and services to meet their needs. It reflects our closeness to Quebec families and our understanding of their daily lives, going back more than 60 years." The campaign was developed by Cossette.
