Coty Canada conducts scented campaign in Toronto

Perfume company Coty Canada recently conducted an out-of-home campaign in Toronto as part of the launch promotion for a new product called Daisy Marc Jacobs. The initiative, developed by Astral Media Outdoor, consisted of ads installed in transit shelters and on street columns in Toronto's Yorkdale neighbourhood. Each ad featured a decal in the shape of a daisy that viewers could scratch to release the scent of the perfume. Promotional workers circulated between the ads to demonstrate scratching the ads and encourage others to do so. Media was handled by OMD. "The passionate and innovative spirit of this program fits that of the Daisy Marc Jacobs brand and, with this street level creative execution bringing the scent directly to the consumer, we know the interactivity will garner huge success for us," said Kim Husted, marketing director of Coty Canada.
