Telus promotes smartphones

Toronto-based Telus has begun an advertising campaign for its line of smartphones. The campaign, which uses the tagline "Get a jump on life with web to go," focuses on the ways in which consumers can use these devices to maximize their time. The creative makes use of a pygmy goat as a spokescharacter. "We are all looking for ways to get a little more control of our busy schedules," said Tammy Scott, vice-president of marketing communications at Telus. "For busy Canadians who need to stay in touch on-the-go, we offer mobile Internet devices that provide easy access to email, web browsing, time-saving applications and more."
