New CEO at Copyright Board Canada

Claude Majeau has been appointed to the position of vice-chairman and chief executive officer of the Copyright Board Canada, based in Ottawa. Since 1993, Majeau has been the secretary general of the board. Prior to that, he was communications and culture director for the Quebec region at the Department of Communications of Canada. He was also chief of staff tot he deputy minister of that department.
