Toshiba Canada conducts Ask What If campaign

Toshiba Canada has begun a back-to-school season marketing campaign called "Ask What If" in support of its line of notebook computers. The campaign uses humorous situations to highlight the technical features and reliability of the machines. Cinema commercials are airing nationally at Cineplex locations. Print ads are running in Famous magazine, while out-of-home ads consist of Zoom Fashion Frames, Pattison shopping mall posters and Cineplex lobby posters. Online banners are running on the websites of YouTube, Musique Plus, Cineplex, Comedy Network, Break.com and Shop-to-it.ca. Online video advertising is running on sites from Gorilla Nation, Tremor Media, Sympatico/MSN and Break.com. Mobile banners are also in use. The campaign also includes a website at <http://www.askwhatif.ca>, at which visitors can enter a draw for a trip to Japan. The campaign, which will run until Aug. 30, was developed by Zig.
