Magazines Canada debuts online ad delivery service

Toronto-based Magazines Canada has introduced a new web-based ad preflight and delivery service called AdDirect. The service is intended to streamline agency and advertiser delivery of magazine advertising files to participating publishers, which include Rogers Publishing, St. Joseph Media and Transcontinental Media. "Ad portals are the next logical step towards workflow automation," said Gary Garland, executive director of advertising services at Magazines Canada. "With AdDirect, agencies and advertisers can now easily and immediately upload, check and send ads with confidence that their files are print-ready. You can even deliver files to multiple participating publishers with just one upload." Magazines Canada is a national trade association representing the Canadian magazine industry.
