New York Fries promotes 25th anniversary
By Adnews Staff
Fast food chain New York Fries has begun a campaign to promote its 25th anniversary. The campaign, developed by Zig of Toronto, features actor Gary Coleman. It consists of magazine, out-of-home and point-of-purchase advertising, as well as online social networking activities. The campaign is an extension of the chain's "Real Fries in a Fake World" campaign that began in 2008. "We wanted to do something special in recognition of this landmark accomplishment, and Gary Coleman is a fun, iconic image, reminiscent of the era in which we were founded," said Jay Gould, president of New York Fries. "The campaign brings us back to our beginnings in 1984 in a way that we can celebrate with both customers and partners who have been part of our growth for the past 25 years." The campaign will run through October. Media buying was handled by Media Experts.
