CTV, Telus introduce mobile video service

CTV has introduced a mobile service that will provide Telus customers with access to video streaming of its content via capable mobile phones. The service includes video-on-demand material from CTV News, MTV, The Comedy Network, TSN, BNN and other channels. "This new initiative fits perfectly with our commitment to providing consumers access to quality content whenever and wherever they want it," said Stephan Argent, vice-president of digital media at CTV. "Given the significant growth of high speed wireless networks and smartphones, there's no question that mobile video will play a role in delivering on this promise."
