BMW promotes Z4

BMW Canada of Whitby, ON has begun a text message campaign for its Z4 roadster. One of these cars has been on display outside the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto since April. Now the company has installed two 40" video displays beside the car that display a loop of five promotional videos. The screens also invite viewers to send a text message to book a test drive at their nearest BMW dealer. "Traditionally, BMW has presented new model launches outside the iconic Royal York in downtown Toronto to reach and communicate with consumers," said Marc Belcourt, brand communications manager at BMW Canada. "We have now further enhanced our display, adding an interactive mobile marketing component designed to generate leads and to conquest new BMW Z4 customers." The campaign, which was developed by Cundari, will run until Aug. 31. Technical support is being provided by Novramedia and Vortex Mobile.
