Coca-Cola readies Chill on the Hill promotion

Coca-Cola is preparing a summer promotion for its Nestea brand called "Chill on the Hill." The initiative will consist of three events at ski hills. Participants will be able to ski and snowboard on a surface made of chipped ice. Each event will be attended by professional and Olympic athletes who will conduct ski and snowboard workshops. Each event will also feature beach volleyball, swimming, and a rock concert. The program will begin on June 20 at Mont Tremblant in QC, continue at the Glen Eden Ski and Snowboard Centre in Milton, ON on July 18, and conclude at a location in western Canada to be determined. "We wanted to create an event that would really capture people's imaginations," said Wallace Leung, senior brand manager for tea at Coca-Cola. "The idea of being able to enjoy the snow, hit the beach and see a great band perform for free seemed like a refreshing way to offer a unique and unexpected experience."
