Ariad Custom Communications opens healthcare division

Ariad Custom Communications of Toronto has launched a new healthcare marketing division called Ariad Healthcare. The unit will be led by Richard Marcil as general manager. "Ariad's 20 years of know-how in financial services and with consumer health-focused brands like Unilever's Becel makes the healthcare sector a natural fit," said Marcil. "I believe Ariad's reputation, executional excellence and benchmark direct capabilities will be especially powerful in healthcare as marketers and manufacturers seek to engage, dialogue and empower consumers and patients. Ariad is well positioned to help its healthcare clients accelerate product trial, strengthen brand loyalty and increase therapeutic compliance."
