Pink Triangle Press buys Fab

Toronto-based Pink Triangle Press has signed an agreement with No Fear Publishing to acquire the publishing assets of Fab, a Toronto-based biweekly gay lifestyle and entertainment magazine. The magazine will be overseen by Brandon Matheson, publisher and editor-in-chief of Pink Triangle's eastern publishing division, which also produces the biweekly publication Xtra. "We view Fab as being highly complementary to Xtra, bringing us both a slightly different readership and style of publication," said Matheson. "The addition of Fab allows us to expand the ways we engage our audiences, as well as provide advertisers and marketers a greater range of options and access to the gay community." No financial details are available.
