CTV begins Canada AM campaign

CTV has begun a promotional campaign in support of its morning show Canada AM. The campaign, called "More in your Morning," consists of 15- and 30-second commercials in which the program's hosts describe what the show will offer to viewers in an expanded format that will debut on Jan. 28. The ads promote the addition to the show of more breaking news, local weather and traffic reports. The ads will air on CTV and the company's specialty channels. The campaign also includes radio, outdoor and print advertising, primarily in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton. Online advertising will run on various CTV websites. "We really wanted to spotlight the charisma, charm and professionalism of our Canada AM team in this campaign," said Rick Lewchuk, senior vice-president of CTV Creative Agency. "Our goal is to let viewers know that their will now be more of the Canada AM they know and love, including more of the news and local issues that matter to them the most."
