Tetley Canada breaks green tea campaign

Tetley Canada has begun a new multi-media advertising campaign promoting Tetley Green Tea. The national campaign consists of television, print and transit advertising developed by John St. of Toronto. The print ads focus on the health benefits of green tea, while the TV ad depicts drinking the tea as a relaxing experience. The commercial will air through the winter on major networks and some specialty channels. Print ads will run in English and French in magazines including Canadian Living, Style@Home and Coupe de Pouce. "We didn't really have to create emotion for Tetley Green Tea, we just had to capture what's already there," said Angus Tucker, co-creative director of the agency. "As a whole, we wanted the campaign to have a kind of quiet power to it."
