Olive Canada Network expands

Toronto-based online advertising company Olive Canada Network has recently hired 17 new staff members. Nathalie Boucher has been appointed director of sales and marketing for Quebec. She was most recently director of sales for eastern Canada at Sympatico/ MSN. Phil Connell has been appointed director of corporate and strategy development. He was previously a consultant. Greg Banducci, Vanessa Fehringer, Donna Nguyen and Theresa Smith have joined the company as strategic account executives in Toronto.  Banducci was previously at LiveDeal Canada, while Fehringer was at Microsoft, Nguyen was at Yahoo Canada and Smith was at MSN Canada. Claire Anderson and Khai Huynh have been hired as account managers in Toronto. Anderson was previously at LiveDeal, while Huynh was at Rydium. Vicki Anzenavs, Nik Gardiner and Emie Hoshi have been hired to handle ad operations in Toronto. Anzenavs was previously at St. Joseph Media, while Gardiner was at LiveDeal and Hoshi was at Loblaws. Gerard Doyle has been hired as sales production manager in Toronto. He was most recently as Toronto.com. Rose Lee has been appointed ad operations manager in Toronto. She was most recently at M2 Universal. Elise Hofer has joined the Montreal office as a sales producer. She was formerly at Cyberpresse. Mona Kiriakopoulos and Andrea Lawlor have been hired as sales producers in Toronto. They come from Toronto.com and OMD, respectively. Bromley Switzer has been hired as an executive assistant in Toronto. She was previously at Torstar Digital.
