New CRTC commissioner for BC, Yukon

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission has appointed Claire Anderson to the position of commissioner for British Columbia and Yukon for a term of five years. She is an associate lawyer at Lackowicz & Hoffman of Whitehorse. Anderson is also a member of the board of directors of the Yukon Legal Services Society, the Taku River Tlingit First Nation Economic Partnerships and the Nacho Nyak Dun Development Corporation. She is also a founding member of indigenous women's collective ReMatriate.
