CRTC appoints Ontario regional commissioner

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission has appointed Bram Abramson to the position of regional commissioner for Ontario for a five-year term, beginning Feb. 15. He was most recently the principal of 32M, a legal, regulatory and public policy firm focusing on the telecommunications, media and financial technology sectors. Prior to that, Abramson was the general counsel at Decentral, chief legal and regulatory officer at TekSavvy Solutions, and an associate at law firm McCarthy Tétrault. He was also a senior financial analyst at the CRTC.
