Gesca reorganizes management

Montreal-based publisher Gesca has reorganized its management. Pierre-Elliott Levasseur appointed president of a new division called Gesca Development. This division will encompass the Cyberpresse website group, television production, book publishing and magazines. The division also includes Gesca Digital Investments, Workopolis, the Olive Canada Network and LiveDeal.ca. Levasseur joined Gesca in 2006 as vice-president development. Prior to that, he was the treasurer of Power Corporation. Marco Dodier, president of Gesca Digital Investments, has also been appointed president of Cyberpresse. Before joining Gesca in 2006, Dodier a co-founder of Internet company Cesart.
