New president at La Presse

Montreal-based La Presse has promoted Pierre-Elliott Levasseur to the position of president. He was most recently chief operating officer of the newspaper. He is also president of the Nuglif subsidiary of La Presse and president of Square Victoria Digital Properties. Levasseur joined La Presse in 2006. Outgoing president Guy Crevier will remain publisher and vice-chairman of the board at La Presse.
