Best Buy Canada retains Media Experts

Best Buy Canada of Burnaby, BC has hired Media Experts of Toronto as the national media buying agency for the Best Buy and Future Shop retail chains. Media Experts won the account in a review involving seven firms. The incumbent agency, The Media Company, resigned the account in July due to an international client conflict. "This new relationship will continue to help us enhance the brand differentiation between Best Buy Canada and Future Shop in the minds of our consumers and in the Canadian marketplace," said Dave Champion, director of marketing services at Best Buy Canada. "Media Experts bring with them a wealth of knowledge and expertise of the media landscape in Canada, which we want to leverage to create a highly successful dual brand media buying strategy."
