Best Buy readies Life & Tech Festival

Electronics retailer Best Buy Canada is preparing a street promotion in Toronto called the "Life & Tech Festival." The three day event will take place from Sept. 12 to 14 at Yonge-Dundas Square. It will consist of interactive displays from approximately 60 participating exhibitors featuring new technology products such as drones, virtual reality headsets, wearable electronics, smart home products, toys, video game systems, mobile and automotive devices, audio equipment, cameras and personal computers. This will be the third year Best Buy has conducted this promotion.

"Best Buy Canada is thrilled to be hosting tech industry leaders at the Life & Tech Festival this year to educate the public about new and emerging technologies," said company spokesperson Christine Tam. "It's an exciting time to learn about how technology can improve and enhance the world. Our goal is to show Canadians all of the wonderful ways new and emerging technologies can improve every part of their lives. We're encouraging the entire community and visitors to the GTA, from the tech enthusiast to the tech curious to families, to attend this free event."
