BMW sends media account to Media Experts

BMW Group Canada of Whitby, ON has retained Toronto-based Media Experts as its media agency for the BMW and Mini brands. The agency won the account in a six-month review process that included two other firms in the final phase. The three-year assignment includes BMW brand and dealer media as well as Mini brand and dealer media nationally and regionally. "We believe that with Media Experts' strategic, creative and enthusiastic approach, we will create a highly successful media buying strategy for BMW and Mini," said Kevin Marcotte, marketing director at BMW. "This new relationship will help us uphold our position as one of the world's most respected premium brands by reaching consumers in creative new ways. Media Experts bring with them a wealth of knowledge and expertise of the Canadian media landscape, which we are looking to leverage." The account was previously held by The Media Company.
