CTV Newsnet rebrands as CTV News Channel

Specialty channel CTV Newsnet will rebrand itself as the CTV News Channel today. The changes also include a new on-air visual style. "We are very excited about this new chapter," said Jana Juginovic, director of news and programming at CTV News Channel. "Canadians trust CTV News for the most accurate, up to the minute breaking news and this refreshed look will only enhance our viewers' experience." CTV News Channel is owned by CTV, which is a division of CTVglobemedia.
