BMW breaks campaign for 50th anniversary of the Mini

BMW Group Canada of Whitby, ON has begun a new advertising campaign promoting the 50th anniversary of the Mini brand. The campaign, developed by Taxi 2, consists of transit shelter and billboard advertising, as well as online banners and ad in restaurants, bars, fitness centres and grocery stores. The creative focuses on the performance, individuality and heritage of the cars, using copy such as "50 years old and still chasing curves" and "Who's your granddaddy?" The campaign will run until June 28 in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Media buying was handled by The Media Company.
