L'Aubainerie releases television campaign

LXB Communication Marketing has developed a new television campaign for Quebec retail chain L'Aubainerie. The creative focuses on the variety of products available at the chain's 46 stores. Twelve 30- and 15-second commercials will air during the campaign, supported by print materials. "The creative team used the stop-motion technique to highlight the variety of products offered in-store in amusing situations that will surprise and appeal to viewers," said Pier Lalonde, senior creative director at LXB. "In one spot, a rather skinny man is doing body-building exercises in the mirror to show how good the shirts from L'Aubainerie make him look, and in comes [brand spokesperson Nathalie Mallette] who unexpectedly puts him in his place with humour. Each message is a little story in itself, and each time, viewers will want to discover the punch line that will make it memorable."
