Globeandmail.com begins summer contest promotion

The Globe and Mail will begin an online contest promotion today. The contest will run from July 16 to Sept. 3. On each of the 50 days, online readers will have a chance to win $1,000 by answering questions drawn from the content of the site's technology, auto, small business and travel sections. A new question will be posted each day at <http://www.globeandmail.com/1kaday>. The contest is intended to promote the newspaper's recently-added Web-exclusive content, which includes video features, podcasts and discussion forums. The contest is being promoted with radio, print, outdoor and online advertising developed by Naked Creative. Media buying was handled by Gaggi Media.
