Sympatico/MSN, in association with book retailer Indigo, has constructed a new website at CanadaLovesHarry.ca to promote the upcoming release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on July 21. The site, which is aimed at 12- to 15-year-olds, contains Harry Potter content including polls, forums, games, movie trailers and news. The site also allows visitors to use MSN Virtual Earth to visit locations featured in the books.

Toronto-based Rogers Media has redesigned the CanadianParents.com website. The site is based on a discussion forum operated by approximately 60 volunteers. The site also offers feature articles, six blogs, recipes and podcasts. “Not only is the look new and fresh but we will be using new technologies to enhance the way we bring Canadian parents together to share advice and experiences,” said Louise Clements, vice-president of digital properties at Rogers Media.
