National Arts Centre retains Bamboo

The Ottawa-based National Arts Centre has hired Bamboo of Toronto to handle branding and marketing communications for the current National Arts Centre Orchestra Tour of Quebec. The centre chose Bamboo in a review that began this summer involving an unknown number of contenders. The agency began its assignment by developing a newspaper campaign that began in late October in La Presse, Le Droit, Le Nouvelliste, Le Soleil, Le Quotidien, La Tribune and the National Post. This is supported by a website at <http://www.nacotour.ca> that contains information about the tour as well as blogs and podcasts. “Bamboo's innovative creative process really allowed us to come up with an image that reflects the level of excellence of the NAC's orchestra,” said the centre’s marketing officer, Nathalie Gravel. “We received an overwhelmingly positive buy-in internally as well as from the community.”
