Birks to sponsor Governor General's Performing Arts Awards

Jewelry retailer Birks Group has signed a three-year agreement with the National Arts Centre in Ottawa making it the presenting sponsor of the annual Governor General's Performing Arts Awards Gala. The sponsorship will begin with the 25th anniversary edition of the event in 2017. The national awards are presented in the categories of theatre, dance, classical music, broadcasting, popular music and film.
