Council of the Federation breaks crystal meth awareness campaign

The Ottawa-based Council of the Federation began a national public awareness campaign yesterday intended inform young people and parents of the dangers of crystal meth and other addictive drugs.  The campaign, which coincides with Addictions Awareness Week, consists of newspaper and online advertising that directs viewers to additional sources of help and information. Two campaign websites have been created. The first, located at <http://www.talkingwithyourkids.ca>, is aimed at parents. The second, located at <http://www.getthefactsondrugs.ca>, is aimed at youth. The Council of the Federation is a body consisting of the thirteen provincial and territorial Premiers.
