Canadian Film Centre introduces new brand identity

The Toronto-based Canadian Film Centre has adopted a new brand identity as part of its plan to diversify the service offered by the organization. Chemistry Corporation has developed a new brand strategy for the centre, while Taxi handled the new brand identity. The organization’s new logo consists of the letters “CFC.” The first “C” is depicted backwards to represent an open door for participants to enter. “The new CFC identity embodies the evolution of the CFC as a contemporary institution and better reflects the organization that we are today, Canada's largest advanced-training institution for film, TV and new media, professionals,” said Slawko Klymkiw, executive director of the centre. “As we embark on our new strategic plan, the new brand also signifies the CFC’s progression into the future.” The new visual identity will appear on all work produced by the centre’s alumni, as well as on the organization’s collateral materials. A new website has also been constructed at <http://www.cfccreates.com>.
