Rogers Publishing buys CanadianParents.com

Rogers Publishing of Toronto has purchased the website CanadianParents.com. The site, founded in 1996, offers articles about parenting and a group of message boards for parents. Rogers produces Today’s Parent magazine and its website TodaysParent.com. “This acquisition further buttresses our position as the best Canadian source for parenting content,” said Louise Clements, digital and interactive vice-president at Rogers Consumer Publishing. Tracy Keleher, the founder and business development manager of CanadianParents.com, will continue to lead the operation of the site. The existing editorial staff will also remain in place. According to Rogers, CanadianParents.com and TodaysParent.com will operate independently, but with opportunities for advertiser and audience cross-over.
