The Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center For Holocaust Studies has begun a new Canadian advertising campaign called “Operation: Last Chance.” The print ad will run in a newspapers aimed at various ethnic communities in Canada, including the Bulgarian Forum, Deutsche Presses, Glos Polski, Kanadai Magyarsag, Latvija Amerika, Novy Domov and Ukranian News. The ad, which uses the headline, “$10,000. Wanted. Alive,” offers a financial reward for information leading to the arrest, conviction and punishment of Nazi war criminals. “News media in various European countries as well as Canada have reported extensively on the launch and implementation of Operation: Last Chance,” said Avi Benlolo, president and CEO of the organization. “Now it's time for a hard-hitting and focused ad campaign which may well run in other countries.”
