Consumers in Quebec can enter a draw for a “Made in Quebec” trip, including a five-day bicycle tour of the Gaspé region for two, along airfare and spending money. Consumers in the rest of Canada can enter a draw for “Made in Canada” trip, consisting of a two-day Red Leaf Rocky Mountain Excursion from Calgary to Vancouver, airfare for two and spending money. Secondary prizes will include 10 Frigidaire stainless steel ranges. “We feel particularly patriotic that all Frigidaire cooking appliances are manufactured in Canada at our L’Assomption plant,” said Stephanie Clarke, marketing manager for Electrolux Major Appliance Canada. “The sweepstakes is an excellent opportunity to reward our consumer base while we do a little flag waving as Canada’s largest manufacturer of home grown cooking appliances.” The promotion was developed by Scratch of Toronto. The contest will be promoted with in-store materials, magazine advertising and online banner ads.
