Website roundup

Canadian Family magazine has launched a new website at <http://www.canadianfamily.ca>.  The site is divided into seven main areas: parenting, style, food, products, health, fun and connections. The content consists of contests, product picks, recipe-booklet downloads and other advice for families, along with a monthly email newsletter. “The best part is that the site offers Canadian moms and dads an opportunity to share parenting tips and volunteer as product and recipe testers,” said magazine editor-in-chief Lisa Murphy. “That enables us to create a vibrant dialogue with parents of tots, teens, and every age in between.”

Toronto-based Porter Airlines has constructed a website at <http://www.flyporter.com>. The site contains information about the regional carrier which will go into service later this year. This includes a list of frequently asked questions, fleet information, background on the Toronto City Centre Airport and biographies of the management staff. When the airline begins to operate, the site will also allow passengers to book flights and participate in the company’s frequent flyer program. Career opportunities will also be posted. The site was designed by Winkreative of London, UK.
