Nissan Canada promotes two from marketing department

Nissan Canada of Mississauga has promoted Ian Forsyth from the position of marketing director to the newly created position of director of corporate and product planning. This new department will combine long-term planning and budget development with the product planning functions previously handled by the marketing division. Forsyth joined the company in 1983 as national marketing manager.He became director of marketing role since 1990. Wendy Durward, formerly corporate manager of marketing communications, has been promoted to the newly created position of director of marketing communications. This new division combines marketing communications with corporate and product communications. Durward, who joined the company in 1992, has held various positions in the finance, dealer relations, sales and marketing departments.
