Nissan breaks new Infiniti campaign
By Adnews Staff
Nissan Canada of Mississauga began a new television campaign for its Infiniti brand on July 7. The commercial, developed by TBWA of Toronto, is airing on various specialty channels. The creative features performers from Cirque du Soleil who descend from the air on two lengths of yellow silk. The silk takes the form of the yellow lines of a road as an Infiniti G35 sedan drives past. The television commercial will be supported by magazine advertising using the same visual theme. "Driving an Infiniti is akin to sitting in the front row of a Cirque du Soleil show," said Wendy Durward, director of Infiniti dealer operations. "It's an exhilarating sensory experience full of beauty, strength, passion and peak performance and we think the new commercial clearly illustrates those similarities." Infiniti is currently in the second year of a three-year sponsorship of Cirque du Soleil.
