Black & Decker Canada hires National Public Relations

Black & Decker Canada has retained National Public Relations of Toronto as the PR agency of record for its DeWalt, Delta, Porter-Cable and Black & Decker power tool brands in Canada. According to the agency, public relations efforts will focus on consumer and industry media relations, events support, and "relationship-building with key influencers." "We want to partner with National because of their proven track record in marketing consumer and lifestyle brands, as well as their solid understanding of the house and home retail space in Canada," said Greg Wight, marketing director of Black & Decker's consumer products division, while Brett Maves, director of brand and channel marketing for the company's industrial products group, said, "They've demonstrated a true understanding of our brands and how we reach key influencers in the industrial space."
