ROGERS HAS SECRET JOB FOR NEW AGENCY
By Adnews Staff
Big Black Hat of Toronto has been added to the list of agencies on the payroll of Rogers Communications. The ad shop has been hired to carry out an assignment - very hush-hush at the moment - for the Rogers Multi-Media division of the Toronto-based communications conglomerate. All that is known is that Black Hat will be breaking a national print and radio campaign in late February. Rogers Multi-Media is made up of the radio and television stations and publications Rogers picked up in 1994 when it took over Maclean Hunter, also based in Toronto. Other agencies working for various divisions of Rogers Communications are Prism Communications, Gee, Jeffery & Partners Advertising, Enterprise Advertising and J. Walter Thompson. Toronto-based Media Buying Services handles all media placement for Rogers.
