BETA MIGHT NEED AGENCY

Beta Brands of Toronto is currently trying to decide how to promote the Life Savers, Breath Savers and Beechnut cough drops it bought last week from Hershey Canada. Beta will decide within a month if it will hire an agency or handle advertising in-house, chairman Joseph Pulla told Adnews last week. The company hasn't advertised before. It makes private label chocolates, including President's Choice for Loblaw's stores and Master Choice for A&P. Hershey had advertising done by DDB Needham Worldwide of Toronto for the brands it sold to Beta.
