PIZZA HUT STICKS IN AN EXTRA CRUST

U.S.-based Pizza Hut introduced the TripleDecker Pizza in the U.S. and English Canada yesterday. It will be available in Quebec on Feb. 5. The TripleDecker has two crusts that seal a hidden layer of six blended cheeses. It also has a topping. Launch TV advertising will begin during the Super Bowl broadcast on Sunday. Radio and direct mail will begin next month. The campaign was created by BBDO Worldwide of New York and for Canada by the agency's Toronto office. For take-out and delivery orders, the pizza will be packaged in a white box bearing the words "TripleDecker Pizza" in the same font as the Pizza Hut logo.
