CAMPAIGN SHOWS WHAT DISABLED CAN DO

MacLaren McCann is trying to raise money for disabled athletes. The Toronto agency is launching a national radio and TV campaign next week for the Canadian Paralympic Committee, which is sending disabled athletes to the Tenth Paralympic Games in Atlanta in August. The goal of the campaign is to raise money to cover travel and other expenses and to build awareness of the Paralympic athletes and their accomplishments. The ads feature Paralympic competitors Chantal Petitclerc and Rob Snoek, as well as a 1-800 number to call to make donations. The phone service is being provided by The Connect Corporation of Rhode Island.
